Disconnect to Reconnect! A Quick Reminder for Our Wildcats!
Updated
Hey Harris ES Families! As we kick off another amazing year of learning, building friendships, and creating memories, we want to share a quick reminder about personal tech at school! 🎒📲
https://www.gcpsk12.org/families/student-electronic-devices
To keep our classrooms focused, creative, and distraction-free, we follow GCPS guidelines for personal devices.
The Golden Rule: Turn them OFF. Put them AWAY. ALL DAY.
This applies to:
- Cellphones & Tablets
- Earbuds & Headphones
- Smartwatches & Smart Glasses
How This Helps Our Wildcats Shine:
Be Respectful: Giving our full attention to our teachers, classmates, and friends.
Be Responsible: Keeping personal gadgets turned off and safely stored away in backpacks during school hours.
Be Engaged: Fully participating in hands-on activities, discussions, and playground fun!
Parents, if you ever need to reach your child during the day, our main office is always here to help!
Thank you for partnering with us to make Harris Elementary a place where everyone can learn, grow, and belong!
